Basmati is a variety of long, slender-grained aromatic rice that is traditionally from the Indian subcontinent. Basmati rice is exclusively produced and export from India, Bangladesh, and Pakistan. India produced and exported two third of the total production in the overseas market. It is the important part of various Indian, Bangladeshi, and Pakistani cuisine, but now is also used extensively in Persian, Arab, and other Middle Eastern Cuisine.
